| Tim Werling, a retired US Army lieutenant colonel, was stationed in and traveled to many foreign countries during his 20 years in the armed forces. He served in the US Army Special Forces in Southeast Asia, and he was a deputy district senior advisor for two adjacent districts during the Vietnam conflict. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Infantryman’s Badge for his participation in combat operations. His first book, Jim Corbett, Master of the Jungle, was published by Safari Press in 1998. He resides with his wife, Susan, near Monument, Colorado. |
